Part of the expanding shell of a star that exploded roughly 10,000–20,000 years ago, about 2,400 light-years away in Cygnus. The red filaments are glowing hydrogen and the teal edge is doubly ionized oxygen, marking where the blast wave is plowing into interstellar gas.
